The Sea Garden is one of the symbols of the city of Varna. Varna Sea Garden is the largest artificial park on the Balkan Peninsula and is declared a work of art of the landscape architecture. The garden stretches along the promenade of the city. The impressive main entrance of the Sea Garden is designed with columns and after the colonnade there is a sundial depicting a stylized figure of a swan taking off. The territory of the park comprises a zoo, a dolphinarium, an aquarium, an observatory with a planetarium, called "Nicolaus Copernicus", a terrarium, an open-air theater, open-air stages, two museums - the Naval Museum and the Natural History Museum, as well as numerous cultural monuments. In addition to the well-maintained gardens and quiet walking paths, the Sea Garden offers various kinds of sports and entertainment. There is a football pitch for training outdoor soccer and also volleyball and tennis courts. The indoor Trinity center has a football, a volleyball, a basketball, and a handball court, as well as badminton and futsal courts, a tennis court and a fencing hall. The modern swimming complex "Primorski" offers two outdoor and one indoor pool, a gym and a SPA center. One of the attractions for children are both the huge amusement park with a lake with pedalos and the hydro park on the beach. For nightlife lovers there are numerous bars, restaurants and discos. The Sea Garden is a favorite place for recreation, walking and entertainment.
