Lopushna Winery is located in the village of Georgi Damyanovo, 15 km away from the town of Montana. It is the successor of the winery in the village, built in 1936. The winery owns two vineyards with a cultivated area spreading over 360 decares. One of them is located in the village Bezdenitsa and the other one is in the village of Gorno Tserovene. The winery produces more than 200 000 bottles of wine using organic farming methods.

The winery is located in a tunnel, carved into a rock on the territory of the cellar. It is 47.5 meters long and 4.5 meters wide and can hold, for the purposes of storing and aging, 100 tons of wine. The tunnel has a special ventilation by means of which, throughout the year, are being maintained  constant  humidity and temperature of 12 °C

The production capacity of the winery is about 600 tons of grapes. The wines produced are of several varieties of grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

In 2006 the winery was completely renovated and equipped with the latest technologies for storing, aging and growing of wine.
