This is an evening trop that combines the following: visit to the monastery, light show on the background of the ancient rocks, evening lights of Varna, Bulgarian wine tasting. The program starts with a visit to the Aladzha monastery – a mysterious rock monastery, which zenith refers to the period between 12th and 15th centuries. After the Ottoman conquest in the end of 15th century, the monastery started to gradually become desolate and in 17th century was finally abandoned. After that follows a light show on the background of the rocks that will tell you stories about the ancient Sarmatian sea in which depths laid a big part of Europe, also about the ancient civilizations which inhabited the territory of Bulgaria, and about the monks that lived in the rock caves of Aladzha monastery. Follows a scenic evening tour across Varna. You will have the opportunity to have a photo break in the downtown of Varna and take pictures in front of the beautifully lit cathedral.
