The golf course in Pravets is part of the hotel Spa complex RIU Pravets Resort Golf & SPA, which is situated at the foot of Stara Planina mountain and built around the famous lake, 40 minutes away from the capital Sofia. This is a championship 18 holes golf course of classical size - par 72, length 6470 m from the back tees.  It is designed by Peter Harradine, from the Dubai based company Harradine Golf, that has built more than 200 golf courses across the would. The course of the Golf Club “Pravetz” is a park type, classical par 72. Each hole has 5 teeing grounds, which makes the course pleasant and suitable for golfers of various skill levels - from beginners to professionals. Apart from that course, visitors are also offered training golf course and golf academy. The area for practice and the facilities are equipped with special lights for night golfing or playing before dawn.
This 350 m long training course is built in two levels (terraces) which gives the golfers the opportunity to practice from different distances.

The signature hole of Golf Club “Pravets” is hole number 8, par 3. Its green is an island and is situated in the middle of a lake with a unique design for the country. Hole number 15, par 4, includes the water of the big lake as a hazard.
