Arena Samokov sports complex is located in the central part of the town of Samokov, 70 km away from Sofia, 130 km away from Plovdiv and 10 km away from Borovetz ski resort. The complex consists of a multi- purpose sports and entertainment hall and a hotel part, connected via a pedway. Arena hotel specializes in organizing training camps for sports teams, year-round camps for athletes of all ages and nationalities, sports and congress events.
Sports facilities
Arena Samokov is a multi-purpose sports hall, suitable for 26 sports: basketball, volleyball, handball, futsal, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, wrestling, boxing, judo, karate, sambo, badminton, weightlifting, sport dance, aerobics etc.
Arena Samokov meets all modern requirements for hosting training activities, sporting events and tournaments.
The main hall has a sound system, stands arranged on the three sides of the hall, with a capacity of 2 000 seats, with additional 300 seats available and a VIP box with 40 seats.
There are 4 commentator booths over the VIP seats.
Dimensions of the playing area: 42m long, 25m wide and 18m high.
Training hall’s dimensions: 30m long, 18m wide, 8m high. There are two additional fields, each 4.5m wide:
- Aerobics room - size: 10 x 8m with special flooring.
- Modern dance and ballet hall - size: 10 x 10m
- Training Hall - size: 10 x 10 m
- Press Conference Room with 40 seats
- VIP hall for 20 people.
