St. Vlas

The resort complex of St. Vlas („Sveti Vlas“) is located in the foothills of Stara Planina mountain east slopes, on the very Black Sea coast. St. Vlas is in the north part of the same gulf where the resort Sunny Beach is situated, 10 km away from the historical town of Nessebar, and 40 km away from Burgas.
This small vacation town attracts visitors with a unique combination between clean mountain air, mild marine climate and beautiful nature.
St. Vlas is also a very famous marine climate resort as the microclimate in the area is very suitable for treatment of pulmonary diseases. Summer days are moderately hot and the autumn is long an warm.
In 2007 the biggest yacht port in Bulgaria, with capacity for mooring 300 yachts has opened in St. Vlas. Yachting tourism has been developed.
